About SW11art

Wandsworth Artists’ Open House 2012 takes place at several venues around Battersea on 6 – 7 and 13 – 14 October 2012. Registrations are now closed!

This blog has been set up as a forum to provide information for and about artists living and working in and around London SW11. The artists featured here all came together as part of the Wandsworth Artists’ Open House .

We aim to keep this forum as current and engaging as possible. As it builds, we hope it will cover:

- artist info, galleries and links to individual artist websites

- events - exhibitions, workshops, community art and other events in the area

- pointers on how and where to commission or purchase art

- information on how to partner with artists, whether you are a business, school or other local organisation

Here goes. If you would like to find out more about taking part in the Wandsworth Artists’ Open House 2012 click here.

If you would like to see artist images of the local area – SW11 and beyond – click here.

I always enjoy visiting the open houses in my area. Looks like you will have much more on offer this year so I’ll be sure to make a weekend of it.

Loved the Open House last year – although my purse was a little less pleased as it was certainly lighter after the weekend! Looking forward to this year’s event too – got it booked in the diary already. Please keep me posted on any new artists joining in.

Can’t wait for the next Open House events – coming up soon. It was so easy last time to walk to many different venues, which is so much nicer than driving in London.

I’m looking forward to going along to the Open House event (the second weekend for me) and remember it’s well worth the visit and great fun to take a friend or two along with you. I’m looking forward to even more going on this year than last judging from all the info so I know we’ll have a great time.
